Media company executives tour China to facilitate Chinese government's intent to organize performances of American acts.
Orlando, FL - September 30, 2003 - PROactive Media, Inc., an Orlando digital media company is sending two of its executives to China on October 4, 2003 to discuss the possibilities and details of bringing American performers to Chinese venues. The company had been in discussion with Chinese business owners and organizers since its staff was approached in March of 2003.
"The discussions came to a standstill because of SARS, but the green light has been given to continue with this amazing opportunity," stated Tony Coolidge, president of PROactive Media.
Marvin Couch and Shu-min Hsu will be meeting with officials of the government-sponsored China National Arts Co. in Beijing. They will also meet other interested businessmen and organizers in Beijing, Guilin and Hong Kong during their 10-day trip.
PROactive Media has long had working relationships with the media and government officials in China and Taiwan. Through its involvement with the ATAYAL (http://www.atayal.org) non-profit organization and its production of documentary films and media projects, the company has put itself in a position to create business opportunities that bridge the culture gap.
