Media company hired by Taiwanese government to film cultural events in Miami
Orlando, FL - May 30, 2004 - PROactive Media, Inc., was hired by the Taipei Economic and Cultural office in Miami to produce DVD presentations of two important events in the Miami area. The first event was Taiwan Music Night, which was held in conjunction with Taiwanese Heritage Month. The second event was Taiwan Tourism Night.
"These events are important to the Taiwanese community, and we are honored to document the contributions of the Taiwanese to the Miami community," stated Tony Coolidge, president of PROactive Media.
The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Miami provides cultural and unofficial foreign ministry services for Taiwan. PROactive Media has long had working relationships with the media and government officials in China and Taiwan. Through its involvement with the ATAYAL (http://www.atayal.org) non-profit organization and its production of documentary films and media projects, the company has put itself in a position to create business opportunities that bridge the culture gap.
