West Coast Style - Mountain Biking
This video was first released in 2001, with over an hour of instruction on riding all types of technical terrain. Filmed on and around Vancouver's famous North Shore trails in British Columbia, Canada.
Over 20 skills are explained, from West Coast Basics to Wheelie-drops. Instruction by Joan Jones, Director of the West Coast School of Mountain Biking (WCSMB), whose teaching methods form the core of the West Coast Style series. Co-host is the entertaining and renowned Elladee Brown.
West Coast Style - Freeride Fundamentals
The second in the West Coast Style series, this video is all about taking your freeriding skills to the next level. Filmed on the North Shore, Squamish, Whistler Bike Park, and other renowned trails on Canada's West Coast.
Returning is host Elladee Brown and renowned instructor Joan Jones. Teaming up with Elladee and Joan is Daamiann Skelton: Certified coach, freeride instructor and former Canadian Downhill Champion. Forty-five minutes of lively and interactive instruction takes you from Freeride Basics to advanced skills for taking air, riding skinny lines, rolling drop-offs, cornering and flowing smoothly down your favorite trails.
